References to commentaries updated

Kombilo includes a list of references to commentaries in the English go literature (most notably to commented games in Go World). I have now updated this list to include all Go World issues up to volume 109. Altogether there are now more than 1500 references to game commentaries.

Note that the list does not contain the corresponding SGF files. Instead the games are indexed by their "symmetrized Dyer signature". If one of the games is available in the database you use with Kombilo, then Kombilo displays a short note with the corresponding reference.

You can easily incorporate the new list of references into your copy of Kombilo: download the file references and copy it to the main Kombilo directory (i.e. replace the old version of the references file). (On Windows systems, the default directory is \program files\kombilo05.)

Of course, I would be glad to add further references to the list. Feel free to contact me about the details if you would like to contribute to this project.

Black to play

To avoid comments by spam bots, I kindly request you to try to solve the go problem displayed here. I hope I managed to find problems that are not too hard even for beginners, and I apologize to all stronger players if the problems are boring for them. If you get the problem wrong, your comment will not be lost, but will be visible only after manual inspection. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Please type the coordinates of black's next move into the box below (e. g. C3). (In a few cases there is more than one correct answer - just pick one.) If JavaScript is enabled, you can instead just click on the board.
